Judging by the radar, there could be more to come.

Cell about to hit. With this wind direction sometimes they electrify all of a sudden after they’ve come across the bay.

This is an area of interest, some heavy rain there now.

A small cell weak cell has just pass me, heading out to the Irish Sea now. Cells popping up in Central Ireland.

Heavy rain from this cell but no lightning. May electrify as it heads further inland. Watch out Chorley/Preston.

Ireland’s finally kicking off. Everywhere else it seems to be a non-event (using the term ‘event’ loosely here )

Lots of rain though so far - and for the south we’ve got a while to go before things may get interesting.

Fingers crossed for later...

I'm deeply disappointed here, it seems after reading Met Eireann's update that most of the action will be in the Midlands and Northeren parts of Ireland . I'll give it another hour or two.

Matches the forecast for localised thundery rain - they weren’t predicting earth-shattering storms or anything but I was expecting something across the midlands by now

Keeping an eye on this area

Same, seems to be converging on here but doesn't seem electrically active.

80+ now !

There was talk of there being a triple-point and potential supercellular activity over there so it would be interesting to see if there’s any good structure to that storm

I feel quite positive about later. Portsmouth just might be a little too far west, but there could be activity in the channel to watch

That stuff over Ireland has got me a little more excited than I was earlier, but I doubt we would get anything that active

Hey Guys and Girls, What actually happening then? I live in Bucks near Aylesbury, I'm so confused....BBC saying thunder from 1am, Netweather saying no thunder, Metoffice saying chance of Thunder?

It's been overcast and raining all day....

Does Bucks area stand any chance of seeing anything?
