Looks like some  more storms are brewing SW of Scotland.

Looking at the radar images, those storms in eastern Scotland were/are moving extremely fast, 50 mph or more..

Yes you are absolutely right, the storm that passed this way was quite intense but fairly rattled through.

That front pushing into the north east just died, the skies were looking so promising

I'm sure people have said it's not the cold front though?

Its so dark here the street lights are on, at 6.30 on the 1st July !

Storms are very fast moving though, unlike Mondays, only seem to last 5 minutes but heave heard rumbling thunder for a while now

The storms look brilliant and I am jealous of day darkness, but the fact you’re 2 days ahead of everyone else is even better .

@Supacell,are you chasing today?

Not today mate. Although there is clearly storms in Scotland I don't have enough confidence in anything building south of the border to warrant driving that far. Wish I could have been in Scotland, but that is too far even for me.

The Meto warning didn't kick in until 6pm so plenty time yet. Just unsure on how or where it's supposed to kick off from

Looking west from Lincoln, looks like the cap is holding firm, towers going up and then just stopping dead.

It was great to see Scotland do so well with the thunderstorms today. I seen plenty of lightning and the long loud deep rumbles of thunder were amazing. I felt as though I was back in Florida

Late evening sun poked out but can see some destabilisation behind this front taking place again now. Could this be northern England's turn? Time for some gin me think
