When it moves over storm killer NW England it will fizzle to nothing , trust me on that

Although it looks like there could be thunderstorms 'wasted' over the irish sea then pushing north into scotland ,

Isle of  Man could see a storm, possibly north cumbria  ,,,but the populated areas of NW England...nope,  unless it all develops a little further south , but knowing our luck it will be even further north than forecast

From Thursday,  Looks like i was right, so predictable,    oh well off the gym to pass time , sure will be  hot in there

To be fair it’s the North’s time for a chance at glory...although admittedly it is utterly steaming here (app says 33C) although locally it’s hotter than that!!

Last thunderstorm here was September 2016.

That storm west of Carlisle developed so quickly. Incredible strike rate per minute too.

The sky is dark(ish) around here now. The shower band is now passing right over me, and all I’ve got is a few large spots of convective rain... Sadly I think this is a bust for me unfortunately. :cray:

But good luck to everyone North and east of me, as that’s where the fun is by the looks of things. ?️:oldgood:

33 strikes/min ain't that incredible. 2/3 years ago there was regular outbreaks of 200-300/min+ storms
