I noticed Skegness had been really badly flooded this week-

They must be in a world of pain right now

Been under this band for hours now. It hasn’t budged north as it was forecasted to. I fear there may well be further flooding around Lincolnshire, and areas along the Trent will be at real risk now. Nearly all of the Trent valley has been hit for 2 days straight, and now this falling straight on top of it in the catchment area. Not good.

Some funky stuff going on here.. The low level cloud is going north west but the radar suggests that the showers are pushing south east...

Hopefully convergence maybe a sound and light show ...?

What an atrocious week it has been I’ve never experienced a June day with 11C maximum this is basically unheard of the incessant rain from east a kick in the guts too.

Today looks to be the last noticeably cool day, before a gradual recovering perhaps even mid 20s in London middle of next week which will feel lovely, even normal would do me just fine.

Some of the showers running east along the sinking frontal band (also decaying) are pretty bloody beefy! Just had one come through...

Royal Ascot next week!!! I really wish this week was Royal Ascot.. Nothing beats watching all the "rich" people getting not only drunk and making themselves look stupid but also soaking wet...

I’ve seen something really unusual this morning . Yes you’ve guessed it , it’s called the Sun .  Looks like some more showery outbreaks today and over the weekend , oh the joy and I have a weekend trip to Brighton , Pack the wellies and umbrella ☂️.

Some very heavy showers have been passing over here, nothing electrical though and yet another very chilly feel to the day with 13C currently.

We got stuck underneath a torrential train of showers earlier, with some wind gusts thrown in.

AGAIN as soon as it gets closer to the forecasted dry weather, it changes! Showers up to mid day today, yet looking at live rainfall I'd say rain all day in some form. Depressing!
