Today it has been a battle of the clouds between cumulus and stratocumulus on which cloud will dominate the sky. Stratocumulus has won and has filled 3/4 of the sky.  The temperature now is 23.2°C at 19.07 along with 54% humidity.  The barometer pressure is steady at 1016.3.

I am still waiting for a good soaking of rain for my back garden.

I never plan anything in August, always leave it til September - it seems to me decent 'summer' months are usually June, July and September these days. Can we just miss out August next year lol

Another warm weekend coming up.. 28c possible somewhere Sunday..

This week has been fairly decent and pretty good summer weather...

I think we going to have a warm autumn with thunderstorms followed by a stormy above average winter in terms of temperature and rainfall

We have the local mayor round for our summer garden party at our care home, let’s hope the sun stays out 👍🏼

Oh and tomorrow on my day off please let it be hot hot hot 🥵

Log delivery in and stored and dare I say the outlook is starting to look a bit Autumnal 🙈

That said it’s certainly been a very usable day despite being overcast, got plenty done in the garden 👍

A pleasant 23C under milky skies, radar shows rain in the immediate area but not a drop. Really desperate for some decent rainfall now 😞

Thank you @shotski for reminder that I haven’t yet got my logs ordered and neatly stacked. Will ring supplier tomorrow 🙂

Morning dog walk was unpleasantly hot and humid. Steadily increasing cloud has blocked sun, although not the heat. Currently 25c, humid and unpleasant for weeding the garden - so have stopped!

A lot of cloud today, but it didn't stop the temperature reaching 26C, it felt rather rather humid out there.

Now we have a thunderstorm passing close by, the back building cell seems to be getting quite close to here right now.

Yep, bit grim so far at Heathrow but looks like a bit of a clearance coming. Coming week doesn’t look pleasant, hopefully something more summery on its way after that. Worrying times for those affected by flooding 😥

Another warm day out there, apparently a cold front came though an hour or so ago (just some cloud and the odd drop of rain) now fairly sunny, current temp 23.4c...amazing how little precipitation we get out here on the coast on a westerly at this time of year.

A fine and warm afternoon here, a rather brisk wind from the south west but it feels rather pleasant. 24c here.

They certainly have, and it’s grim reading if you like a bit of cold 🙈🙈

Can't help feeling that could be reflective of last winters largely epic fail from the teleconnections/low solar minima and models pointing more favourably to colder conditions. Looks like the QBO still stuck in a positive phase is the ongoing issue (if you like cold) but we still have the good ol' CFS v2 on our side!😀

Well that will go down about as well on here as Gemma Collins at a Royal gala :oldrofl:
