I'm here. Literally dripping with sweat. Had a shower but it felt pointless! I'm kinda enjoying it, kinda not!

I can imagine - I'm watching the weather stations across the SE and Epsom leading the way....just keeps on going up.

Mid level debris passing over here now, temperature stablised around 32c (edging between 90-91f depending on cloud). Very little to the east of me to mention, so I suspect the hot zone will still have at least another 2hrs of clear weather. After that much depends on what is happening in the channel and how those cells evolve.

Roasting on the top deck of a Boris bus at the moment. There’s more hot air up here than even he can produce!

Knowing my luck I'll get home tonight after being hot and sticky all day, fire up the BBQ whilst sitting in the shade with a cold beer and it'll start bucketing down

Temperature crept over 35oC in St Neots about 11:45 but I might be just in a sweet spot (apartment complex/car park around) ..... dont take this as official ....by the river can be cooler (where is the official town weather station?! Just moved here!)

Live at the bottom of an apartment and its only 24C inside....hehe

If the storms could wait until later in the evening, that'd be great. I want to be home to enjoy them!

Cell appeared just off the North Norfolk coast near Blakeney.

Glad it’s developed there and not where I am when I saw the cell starting to develop with a long stream of cloud between 9.30 and 10.30am.

Midday: Cloudless skies currrently, humidity at 40% and a temp of 34.6 (was 34.7 for about 10/15 minutes).

St Neots sandy soil geology means it has a lower specific heat capacity than surrounding areas...wonder if that helps with the rate of warming up?
