Turned into a nice afternoon here temp only 21 degrees, but laying here in the sunshine on my sun lounger that July sun is strong and probably feels more like 25 degrees! Looks like a decent week of weather again here in the south east, temps could reach 28 degrees on Tuesday!

Roll on more zonal weather, cloud continue to stream in off the North Sea. No good for us in the east.

Good morning!  I wonder if someone might be able to help me.  I bit of a long shot, however, a friend of mine has asked if I can recall the dates of around 2/3 months ago when we had particularly high / damaging winds (London / Kent area).  They need these details for insurance purposes.  Any assistance would be gratefully received!

Many thanks

Very nice here too. According to the main model thread it looks like next week could be quite hot down in our region, albeit humid at times with a chance of thunderstorms.

Did I ever mention that I possess (as of now) 2 hand written weather journals...? Essentially I have hand written every noteworthy meteorological event that I have ever witnessed, which spans back to the cold spell of 2010, and is currently up to the tremendously insane June 18-19th 2019 t-storm event. I may share a couple more pages. I have plan to do this until the day I pass away, and perhaps it’ll prove useful to Research regarding the UK’s weather patterns.

Last night there was a completely clear sky but no sign of the moon to be seen.  Knowing my luck, I will see the moon tonight, a day after the lunar eclipse.

This afternoon at 1.06 pm, the sky is partly cloudy with intermittent sunshine.  The temperature is 23.0 °C along with 42% humidity.

I had Sunday March 10 written down as very windy. Checked kent online and it seems to tie in...

Another fine day, some quite thick high cloud around, though it hasn't stopped the temperatures equaling yesterdays high of 26C.

My always reliable   bbc app is showing lightening symbols from 10pm Friday all the way through to Saturday afternoon! Is this likely? Or have they truly lost the plot?

Cloudy and overcast in Thurrock and it looks like it is going to rain according to my weather station.

I'll take a few days of heat and humidity, but there HAS to be a decent thunderstorm breakdown at the end of it all!

I agree. Perhaps this time, you could come over to Bexhill, in the event of a nocturnal channel t-storm? I'm obviously on holiday now, for the next 8 weeks!
