Yes, very usable, summery weather. 26C here currently which is nice. 

Don’t ‘need’ heatwaves, this weather is good but extremes are enjoyed and found interesting by most weather enthusiasts. Could say the same about snow and cold in winter, but most people want to experience some of those each year.

The one thing summer has over winter is you get patterns like this which are completely innocuous but produce beautiful summer weather. 

25c with a light westerly breeze and just a little cloud. Tomorrow looks very similar.

Perfect summer weather - 20oC at 8am with low humidity and a nice breeze. I could take this all summer

Sunny with just a little fair weather cloud and a very light westerly breeze. A high of 26c.

Another perfect day, shame the weekend will see a lot more cloud and cooler temperatures. But no write off either with just a few light showers.

Currently 24.6c here with blue skies feeling very warm, patchy high cloud starting to come in from the north west now though, another nice day on the south coast been a lovely week off

If neither of the mid-Essex MetO stations* get to 30C this summer, I reckon it'll be the first summer since 2009 not to do so.

*By this I mean the Andrewsfield and Writtle stations (although Andrewsfield is a bit further north). I looked at maxes back to 2015 from Writtle via WQRadar, and back much further for Andrewsfield via Ogimet.

It's been a much better day than expected here in the Hastings area with a good deal of sunshine and temperatures locally reaching 24.4c.

The cloud cover didnt't reach here until early evening but no precipitation and still feeling quite humid. All in all it's been a very decent start to July.

Really lovely couple of days in Alum Chine on the south coast in the middle of last week, some cloudy spells in the mornings but blue skies and a very pleasant 22.c by afternoon which is great weather for walking, swimming etc. We've been really lucky, the weather is a bit meh now!
