Well we've broken the 30c barrier.  Currently 30.7c and rising

I'm thinking just over 35c will be the max, very hot so far.

Only 24.5c here on the Essex Riviera, certainly can't see getting near the 30c barrier here...

I wonder why have we had such a cold wind in the southeast over the last few days, it's been unbearable here at times particularly in the evenings, strange with such a mild pool of air over us too.

Well it was a breeze coming from the North Sea and when the cloud rolled over late afternoon it was chilly but I still had my short sleeve Polo on though...both Wednesday and Thursday were like that, 24.9c now.

According to the Weatherquest PWS at the University of East Anglia (only around 4 miles up the road from here), it's as yet only 27C, and only 52% humidity (hence why it feels relatively pleasant).

28.6c Currently here in Bexhill! Scorcher by our standards! Not to mention, there is hardly a cloud in the sky (apart from some high-level cirrus)!!

Dan Holley (aka Staplehurst here) has confirmed on Twitter that the 27.7C shown is correct.  METAR at Norwich Airport apparently showing similar.

30c breached here. Pretty lame how there is no thunderstorms to follow this plume, but that part is pretty predictable tbh, but still a very memorable hot spell nonetheless.

31oC here in north Kent. From Maidstone to Medway. Fairly consistent. Breeze picking up a bit now and a little high cloud. Humidity feels low not sure it is or if the wind is helping . Cracking day. Complete 180 from 12 hours ago. And in another 12 hours another 180. The heat will all be gone. Back to nice temps and temperate weather 

EDIT: Its just hit 32oC. The magical 90oF

Its too hot, I don't mind mid 20s but this is too much. Not to mention no thunderstorms.
