Like everyone else has commented oppressive humidity but unrelenting dullness is disappointing so far the poor June continues.... brooding skies and a lovely clump of rare native orchids at a secret location in Esher common!!

The clouds here have that bluey/grey ness I see with thundery weather, while last week the clouds didn't - and we were thunder free. As soon as we get any sun it quickly fills in. My phone doesn't show it too well.

Nasty here - cloudy, warm, zero breeze and what feels like 500% humidity.  I don't want to be evicted from the forum, but I find myself wondering just how strange some of the people in the MOD thread have to be to actually like this.

I hope so!!

Last time I did spinning, I couldnt walk properly the day after. You're a braver person than me!

I try and do two classes a week but can’t say I enjoy it. I live for the feeling afterwards though.

Just walking home and there are a few drops of rain falling. Very very welcome as the spin studio was like a sauna!

Looks like an interesting couple of hours ahead for many in the region! Worth remembering that it looks like it will be a late night event, so we could be waiting till the early hours.

About 25c here today but endless cloud, same as yesterday. Even with the higher humidity, can't say it feels uncomfortable or very warm.

Hoping the cloud clears later in the week to allow high temps.

Still, there is a bonus...no wind. I detest wind. It's good we currently have none. Makes it feel a little warmer.

What are the current thoughts on it's track, based on current radar images?

Most of the storms are yet to form, but around 9pm we might see them kicking-off in France.

Great day here today, feeling nice & warm and like summer if rather cloudy.

Makes a change from the relentless rain.

Some impressive cloud scapes to my west currently.

Looking forward to the sunny and hot weather Friday & Saturday. Summer at last....

Humidity was horrendous today, looking forward to the storm potential, early night considering it probably won't kick off till around 3am.

Definitely felt humid today but I wouldn’t call it horrendous. Spend a night in Manila Philippines and that is horrendous.

I'm glad we don't get humidity like this regularly. I could never live in South East Asia for this reason. Looking forward to the thunder and lightning later on tonight!

ooh I love it, been working outside most of the day! So nice to feel properly warm at last. Not sure about actually taking off after any action, got a full on dog training day tomorrow and I'll be half asleep (probabl)y end up dashing home, chucking a couple of dogs in the van and heading to Suffolk. On the other hand, I could just take the dogs with me!

According to radar, my cloud has grown and i'm in some rain. Went out to collect washing still hung up and it wasn't damp anywhere but that lovely rainy smell. One  of the best smells in the world.

There’s some impressive reds starating to show in France. Looking at the way their moving I’m guessing London west will be hit if movement doesn’t change but you never know. They could pop up anywhere
