Logs on, waiting for posts about storm shield and other such conjecture. I think this plume destabilising, so those west of Kent are still in with a shout. Look here..

The area of Storms is somewhat further East than forecast - focussing in on East Sussex & Mid kent Eastwards-

I would say about 75 Miles east of TV / Model suite runs as the forecast zone was more Surrey up through London Exiting up towards Herts / Bucks...

It's just to the SE of me, probably 10 - 15 miles (I'm near Heathfield), almost constant flashes and bangs, the whole sky lighting up to the SE - the dog is not happy at all!

Does anyone else has aspergers? Thunderstorms significantly affect my mood, especially when they do not materialize for my area, it makes me feel horrible.

Can see lightning to the north and west of me from the line running up towards Canterbury. Only the odd distant rumble though (I can hear the channel tunnel clearly so wind is coming from the south)

Can someone tell me how it's looking for Northern Norfolk broads please? Have very limited reception (stuck out on river on the boat) so can't see if it's heading this way!

Being nearly 200M up looking due south out the window has massive advantages - My coverage is all the down to High weald past Tonbridge at least !

At the moment I'd say unlikely in the next few hours, activity currently confined to the S coast and Kent.

Thanks again NS, beginning to think it's just us two in here from Norfolk!

I expect everyone else is tucked up in bed! I'm a night owl so I'll keep an eye out for another few hours (last time this happened it was about 3am before anything significant occurred but it was further west when it initiated)

You're slightly south west of me aren't you? Please let me know if anything reaches you. Husband now saying I'm obsessed lol, would thought he would have realised that long ago!

Saw one lonely flash of lightning an hour or so go, but not much to report from Epsom, Surrey. Its further East than I was expecting! Are we expecting a flurry of more tomorrow?
