Max. 27.3 deg C here in West Fareham, phew what a scorcher. Still 23.4 at 8pm, this week has been significantly warner overall here than was being forecast last weekend. Nearby Gosport Fleetlands reported 26.5 in the 5pm hourly so 27 seems likely there too.

Reached 25.9°C in the end so ended up being the warmest day so far this month. Still quite warm now at 19.6°C.

Surely you’ll manage it this time!

A year ago tomorrow the heatwave was rudely interrupted by a localised 42mm in 2 hour monsoon.

I reckon so, Andy.

Oddly, it's quite a difficult record to get here. There's always a rogue shower that'll pop up and spoil the party.

I always enjoy checking this page: https://warehamwx.co.uk/top10s.php

Hmm very cloudy this morning. Wasn’t expecting that given high pressure is more over us than the last two days. Hopefully a clearance this afternoon.

Also raining here! Quite an area of it from Bristol to Chippenham to Warminster etc. Whatever has caused this to develop!?

Only got 4 days worth of washing on the line!!!!

Was wondering the same. Been a few drizzly moments this morn.

Well nearby Gosport Fleetlands was officially the warmest place in the UK yesterday at 26.9. Sadly, the Met Office in their infinite wisdom chose not to include my back garden's 27.3 I wonder why? 😆

Cooler here too today with sunny periods albeit a lot of high cloud, and a nice northerly breeze. 22.7 max so far, much more comfortable than yesterday.

Partly sunny today, but still very pleasant. High today has so far been 29°C... but that was in the garage whilst I was fitting a fan to my radiation shield 😆

Currently 24.1°C, which so far is the real high today!

Quite similar here, a bit more cloud but the sunshine has been pretty constant over the past half hour. Temperature has shot up to 24.1°C

Beautiful out now. Looks like there's more cloud heading this way from the North.

Cloud cover earlier helped with my second weekend of concreting.  Nowhere near as ruined as I was last Saturday.
