South West and Central Southern England Regional Weather Discussion 01/06/2019 Onwards

A partly cloudy start to the day and breezy in from the SE, quite noticeable. Anyway to go with that it's a warm 7.7°C as the rain in the southwest seems to have stalled there, at least for now, but will tomorrow bring a deluge or not...?

Just picked up 3off tix for The Killers at St Mary's next year. Hoping for a better performance than the usual rubbish that we have to watch down there.

🕺⚽

Not quite as bright as advertised here, but much milder this morning. Yesterday morning was a beaut.

Ha. The guys that I sometimes go with, are off there on Saturday. Sounds like they're making a weekend of it.

Well, despite the Met Office forecast showing a mix of full sun and sunny spells (the latter still showing now) it has been overcast all day. The wind has been quite potent too, making feel colder than of late. Temp reached 9.6°C.

Yes.. I squeezed a double digit maxima with 10.6°C on the 11th but apart from that it’s been single digits since the 7th

This month will more than likely be below average temp wise but its been a very wet autumn overall, I wonder whether we will continue this trend into the winter or will it become more anticyclonic. Currently 5.5°C

Reached double figures a few times here over the last couple of weeks but most days were in single figures.

Dry now after the rain earlier but had a brief shower not long ago and looks like a lot more to come. 9.3°C

It's the first below average month here since January. although it hasn't been a noticeable one due to all of the rain and lack of sunshine.
