Not exactly blue sky and it’s started drizzling again but it’ll do.

11.6°C

THE SUN IS SHINING IN BLUE SKY FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE SUNDAY!!

I can see it to the South West....

Said to the OH a while ago, 'here's your Summer on the horizon'... Bit of a white lie.

Just the end of this to get through first...

No sign of the sun here but it has stopped raining and I can see a tiny bit of brighter sky to the SW. 13.2°C

Well the rain has finally stopped here for now. Been that annoying drizzle or light rain on and off all day. Bad time to have a week off work!

High was 15.7°C at 10.45am.

Currently 13.1°C and cannot wait for the weekend improvement!

Not a good day to be working outside! Absolutely vile and work boots finally gave up the ghost. Hate cold wet feet especially when you're working in the middle of  nowhere and the site turns into a temporary lake. Feet still don't feel warm now! Grr where the hell has summer gone.

Had another 19.7mm today. Total for June so far 67.5mm with 50.7mm falling since Monday.

On a plus note just booked myself a last minute week away to Greece from Friday next week  Need some ☀️?

Only reached 13.6°C today making it the coldest day of this awful spell. With the wind and rain it was really unpleasant outside this afternoon. Currently 13.1°C which is hardly any lower than during the day although of course it's more where you'd expect the night temperatures to be in June.

Wow this week has been relentless. Even on the days we’ve not had heavy rain, we’ve at least had heavy drizzle for more than half a day here. Raining all morning, and it’s been heavy for about an hour now. And it ain’t warm!

Raining... AGAIN! Hate to say it but this week has been worse than any individual week in June 2007 and 2012.

Sun is trying here and there's a bit of a clearing out in the channel.

They might actually get a WC Cricket match in at the Rose Bowl today.

Nowhere near as bad as yesterday today with sunny spells and now the skies clearing. Still not overly warm especially in the breeze but pleasant in the sun. 15.9°C

Bursts of heavy rain for hours in Stroud now, some lasting half an hour! Looks like we’ve got the worst of the rain here, plus Bristol and bits of North Somerset near the coast. It just keeps coming!

Still quite cool although it’s better than yesterday with some sunny spells. We also had some showery rain this morning.

16.3°C down from a high of 18.0°C earlier

Just driven back from a day in Wells and the water was gushing down off the Mendips, in much the same manner as it did in the early March wet spell and more significantly during last November and December.

Right on cue at 5pm, the Sun has come out. Looks decent at the Rose Bowl too.

We'll have some of that.

Skies look like death at the moment with showers forming right overhead.

Nobody knows Tom. Next week looks better than this week and that's all I care about. Keep an eye on Wednesday, but too early to tell at the moment.

Looking forwards, there are no heat waves showing on the charts that I'm looking at, but what do I know.

I have friends in Hampshire too and I don't tend to listen to them.
