First proper ground frost this morning with a low of 2.2°C. Sunny at times today but cloudy for the most part. Looks like it’ll be the first day that doesn’t reach double figures here. 8.8°C

A cold one here, a max of just 7.9°C after a cloudy start this morning, some brighter spells developed into the late morn although we had some showery rain, but more bright intervals after that.

Last night was the coldest for 7 months, scraping an air frost at -0.1c .

The weak front passed over between 08.00-09.00 giving drizzle while the low sun still shone and a pretty rainbow occurred.

First time it hasn't reached double figures here this autumn today with a high of 9.4°C. Could see the first air frost here tonight too.

Do I have the first gritter of the season award?

Had a half hearted wintry shower at 8.30/9.00am, then temp rose to 8C. Couple of showers throughout the day, so ice could be an issue as the cloud cover clears

A low of 0.0°C this morning, and a high of 10°C.

Still haven't managed an air frost - had 3 by this time last year.

Currently 1.2°C, so it may drop below zero by the morning. Interestingly, the latest UKV has less of the UK below zero, compared to this mornings runs.

Air frost Began here some 2 hrs ago, currently 0.4°C (32.7°F), Apparent temp -1.3°C, holding steady at the moment.

Minimum temperature now predicted to be 0C here instead of -1C earlier.  Typical!

Just looked out and noticed some high cloud about too, even blocking the moon.. 1.3°C currently. Hope it clears off

Still 1.9°C here at the moment. Lowest temperature so far this autumn but not the air frost I was hoping for yet.

Morning All, nice and white this morning on the ground after an overnight low of 1.9°C at: 05:52 which has now risen to 1.4°C as the sun warms the air. What was a sunny start now has faded quickly as the approaching front makes its presence felt.

Car temperature gauge reading 1C but windscreen splatter test shows negative for any signs of sleet... so just plain old rain started here now ️

-3.2C the overnight low and a nice frost lasted long enough to see it before it got rained on (starting at -1.3C).

Cold air layer is still hanging on in the valley here. Just crept above freezing to 0.2C and moderate rain is falling. we've had 1.2mm of rain so everything is wet but with 'wet frost' lingering on some surfaces such as cars and the grass in the fields.

Certainly the lowest minima of the season so far with -3.5 °C achieved with a pretty harsh frost. Cloud now rolling in ahead of the rain.

First air frost here last night with a low of -1.8°C. Rain arrived not long ago and the temperatures risen quickly since. 9.0°C
