So just what was all this hype about Lorenzo?

We managed 0.2mm of rain and a 10mph gust from it as it died a failing death crossing us..Just shows hows forecasting has "some" way to go yet..

Grey, dry start this morning.
Do agree that for here Lorenzo bought little last few days.
3mm of rain on Thursday and 0.2 yesterday morning. Wind was mostly WSW, breezy at times 6-18mph and some spells of 20-27mph gusts.

A high of 17.3c midday yesterday, low of 10.6c at 3am this morning.
Now 11.6c, Light NE wind

I had 7.5mm in Bournemouth from Lorenzo. The forecast seemed fairly good to me. The press and TV news reports did seem to hype it up a bit.

Just goes to show how it broke up and fell apart as the heavier rainfall was to he east of us, as Wareham captured the same 0.2mm of rainfall, with Corfe Mullen achieving 0.6mm, so you were certainly in the heavier patch of rain.

I looked outside last night around 1am and I was surprised to see that it was foggy.

This morning it’s cloudy but dry. 12.9°C

There was actually no rain at all here from Lorenzo. The 0.2mm was the final tip from Thursday's rainfall.

We’ve been to Sidmouth today. Very unexpected brief heavy showers around the middle of the day, otherwise sunny and windy.

Got home to find washing had presumably been ripped off the line by the wind.
