Hopefully the weather plays nice for the air show, it was quite nice and pleasantly warm last year with mostly blue skies as far as I can remember.

Here it has clouded over even more but there’s still the occasional sunny break. 20.9°C

And the End of the Road Festival over Cranborne way.

Looks like they'll get away with it. A bit breezy and then nippy on Saturday night, but decent enough. ?️

Real autumnal feel this morning during an early morning run. A chill to the air, foggy, everything soaking wet. Pleasantly warm later with a max of 20.2 °C with varying cloud.

Breezy day, which kicked in around 8am, but still achieved 22.3°C at: 13:46 even though there's been a fair few cloudy spells during the day. Tomorrow afternoon looking a tad bit glum rather than damp for the airshow, cloud cover and a breezy afternoon on the beach for those making down to view the airshow methinks..

Variable cloud but still got up to 22.5°C.. mostly sunny currently and 19.9°C

@Dorsetbred yep, we usually set up shop for a fair view on the cliff Poole direction.. I'll be happy if it just stays dry.

Was there a weak (possibly upper) warm front early this morning?

I left Warminster at 06.25 with mid to high level cloud and temperature at 14.1c . Drove through a few minutes of large raindrops (which were a surprise) and arrived in Trowbridge where it was bone dry with a similar, sky but according to the car the temperature was 17c and it felt muggier than at home.

Looking at the radar for the time you mentioned it does appear that something created a decent area of rainfall near you, here's 6:25

Then look at 06:45 it had grown to this

Watching the time loop there certainly was an west to east progression even down as far as the channel with a light shower. DP chart shows how Warminster sat with the 12C right over it..

In Bournemouth, cloudy and a bit boring.

Looks like some rain around lunchtime then clearance after about 4pm/5pm

I like the look of the back edge, that seems be a little more likely to provide us with some rainfall, the front edge seems to be breaking up, and the breeze certainly is making the see choppy today..enjoy

Been enjoying this settled but less hot spell we've had this week. Highs have been in the low 20s with low humidity... perfect!

Currently 21.0°C with Sunny skies and a fresh Westerly wind. Expecting this to change shortly with the arrival with the front. Does look likely I'll miss any of the more substantial rain!

Likely to see a clearance of rain sooner than that, as it's just arriving west of Poole now, and it's forward speed looks to be around 35mph..

Rain is here in Poole @13:02

Back edge (as quite usual) is beginning to break up around the coastal fringe, so looking less likely to bring much more rain than we've just seen (which wasn't a lot)

Back edge is here and is giving a sprinkling and a strong breeze.. just in time for the Super Pitts Muscle Plane.

Is there sun behind the 2nd band?

Still quite cloudy but it’s thinning and the sun is sticking out.

edit: some blue sky looking to the west now
