Right on the edge of convective cloud to the west and clearer sky to the east. May squeeze a brief shower before they move north.

Just drove through a white area on the radar and counted about twenty raindrops on the windscreen...

Cloudy, warm and very humid so far with a brief shower just now which felt tropical given the humidity. Also quite a bit warmer than yesterday was here. 25.6°C

Aaaand stop.. temperature wasn't really affected. 25.7°C

Looks like the band of rain stretches down to the coast with heavier blobs in between so won't be long until it's back

Since the rain it has been mostly cloudy with some bright spells.

23.8°C down from a high of 26.9°C earlier, still feeling warm and close

Touched 30.2°C at 2pm here then the cloud arrived so that will be the max for today, I think. The wind has backed from north to WNW, still a few sunny intervals holding it up to 28.6.

Hottest day of the month here and 3rd. hottest of the year, bah! humbug! I say to anyone who declared the summer a washout 2 weeks ago!

The clouds cleared a bit now leaving it mostly sunny. The breeze picked up for a while which dropped the temperature a bit but it’s back up to 25.0°C now.

Whoa  bit of a shock today returning to the UK, as it was hot(31C) and humid at Heathrow when we arrived back from 3 weeks in temperatures of 48C and RH of 10%. A great NW tour bagging another 5 tornadoes,  quite unexpected, considering we were supposed to be chasing the Az monsoon, which didn't happen. A passing shower has left things damp, but drying rapidly as the sub dries out the moisture.

Seems like mother nature has been enjoying herself in my absence with a 14" butternut squash...

More comfortable today with a max of 23.8 °C. Rather muggy though with quite a bit of cloud through the day and some light rain late morning/early afternoon.
