The 3rd frosty Wednesday in a row, in fact they are the last 3 frosts too. Could Christmas morning be the 4th next week!?

It’s only gone and happened! Beautiful clear and frosty Christmas morning lol.

Happy Christmas everyone!

Merry Christmas to you all. No snow angels this morning, but at least it's crispy, not wet.

Yup what a great way to start THE day, ground frost and wall to wall blue skies. The grandkids have opened their pressies and the dogs are wondering "Nea what's up...". Anyway festive wishes to you all, may your storms be feisty and your snowfall(s) be deep and crisp and even (ROFL) oh well sometimes wishes come true.. ENJOY...

Down to 2.4°C this morning, but at least it's dry and sunny, ending a 17 day streak of rainfall. Currently 8.6°C.

Merry Christmas folks!

Merry Christmas all, the weather hasn't been brilliant recently but we've been lucky enough to get a sunny Christmas Day with some frost this morning.

Got down to 1.9°C overnight. Currently 7.2°C with wall to wall sunshine

Despite a low of 2.4°C and a max (currently 10.1°C) that makes it the coolest Christmas day since 2014.

And surprisingly it looks like right now we might see near maximum sunlight period as the sky remains as clear now as it was this morning..

We shall pay the price tomorrow

Well what’s this! Not only a frost this morning, not only a fully sunny day, but the cars are frosting this evening!

Yep, same here, be gone by the morning sadly, I suspect as the SW approaches begin to turn blue/green

Merry Christmas all!

Quite the mixed bag today in Kingsbridge today. Was woken just after 6am with some hefty gusts of wind. Culdrose had 63mph gust recorded earlier today, so must have been fairly widespread over the SW?

Then we had a lovely settled spell between mid morning and early afternoon.

Since about 1.30 though it's been absolutely rubbish! Got totally drenched on a family wander into town

A very wet morning this morning with some very heavy rain at times. Dry and cloudy this afternoon but more rain has arrived now. 11.1°C

Just reached 118mm for the month so December is now the wettest month of the year here.

Merry Christmas all!!

To be honest, considering how much rain we’ve had so far today and the rain band looks like pretty much stalling on us (albeit weakening) I’m very surprised there’s no weather warning out for flooding?!

Our local streams are up already according to a FB page and causing roads to be impassable.  Hoping that it might all fade away overnight, but I shan't hold my breath.

There’s certainly some heavier rain spells within the front, stood outside trying to coax my dogs to come out. Ha fat chance they must have thought I was mad...no just wet..
