Mild overnight with rain, the low was 7.9°C. A further 12.6mm of rain fell since midnight, adding up to 32.4mm since midnight Thursday.

Flooding starting to become an issue in prone areas, but nothing too serious.

Currently partly sunny and 9.1°C.

Overnight rain missed us, just a little shortly before daylight.  24 hour total to 09.00 today 13.6mm taking December total to 105.6mm.  Last three months' totals all over 100mm, but still under 1000mm for the year so far.  Currently dry with some sunshine here, but it won't last!

Haven't been home much today but where I've been there were a few light showers this afternoon. Saw lots of flooded land on the journey there and back. Reached 9.9°C, currently 9.2°C

Quick check at 4am, yep it’s raining and it’s mild 7C, still raining at 5am. Time to hibernate, the MOD thread is now living on a diet of 240hr outlooks having given up this year to the relentless onslaught from the Atlantic. Wake me up in January please...

There was a massive hail shower here around 6:30 this morning. Torrential rain giving a rain rate of 150 mm/hr. 15mm so far.

Surface pressure could get down to 968mb this evening That'll be the lowest since November 20th 2016, where I recorded 965mb.

Had a heavy hail shower mid morning.
Had 5mm rain so far today.
It is brightening up this afternoon, but forecasts have some more rain for us this evening, some heavy.
Then, looking at the forecasts, looking like a dry Christmas week. Hope so.

The ground is very wet here after this week of heavy rain, loads of large puddles everywhere.
No floods I have seen around here, but see on the news that plenty of Hampshire had floods and problems with traffic last few days.
The warnings for this week and last few days were spot on.
The monthly total so far here is 91.2mm.

A high of 9.5°C earlier, following on from the sunny spells it has turned grey and dull over the past hour with drizzle at the moment, although the more organised rain is just coming out of the Channel.

This rain certainly isn’t going to help the flooding situation. Heavy rain here for the last half an hour now.

Low of 7.1°C overnight as showers came off the channel throughout. 

Have now had 43.0mm since Midnight Thursday. Flooding is becoming an issue to the north of us here, some roads are now closed. Local River Ems is responding for the moment, but with this rain falling tonight, there's a lot of surface water coming off the South Downs now.

Currently 8.3°C with heavy rain. 1.8mm since 4pm.

Another 15.4mm of rain here today. We are ok where I am but a lot of the villages in the area are having significant flooding issues. As per Mapantz's chart, I am indeed recording 968mb here currently.
