Snap! Same minimum here before it warmed up.

Dismal today. Hoping for sunshine tomorrow to brighten up my visit to Stourhead.

Hello fellow snow watchers, long time no see

Winter is coming and I am going to be Poping up to Mendip this evening so might just catch a little sleety stuff if I am lucky.

Not living there currently after I moved in with the partner in Wiltshire only for it to go Pete tong just last week so shall be scanning properties back up on the hill to get back into the thick of it soon.

Regards,

NK

-2.0°C overnight makes it the coldest night of the season again...

Looking outside now, it’s quite dull and miserable. Cool too at 6.5°C

We had a spell of rain from midday till 3pm
It was a little heavy at times. Stopped now and brightening up nicely.
Expected a lot more from the forecasts and the amber warning.
Total rain today is 6.5mm

I would too if there was an amber warning out. A yellow warning is out.

First air frost, just, -0.9 this morning, disappeared very quickly and rain started around nine.  Was out all morning, fortunately in the car for most of it, but it was torrential for a couple of hours and the roads were a mess and there was a lot of standing water on the side roads.  Stopped quite suddenly and I was surprised that there was only 12.2mm in the gauge and that the little local stream (renowned for flooding) was behaving itself!

Done. We're soaking wet.

I do hope someone checked for hedgehogs hiding under all that before it was set alight!

7.4°C was the max here today, skies began to clear just after 4pm just in time for sunset, seems to have clouded over again, however.

Temperature not falling away as quickly as last night... 3.6°C

Talk about chalk and cheese weekends.

Yesterday's 3rd consecutive washout Saturday followed by (barring the midday showers last week) today being the 3rd consecutive sunny Sunday!

Washing dry on an airer on the patio in 2 hours. By this time next week though the sun won't even shine there.
