South West and Central Southern England Regional Weather Discussion 01/06/2019 Onwards

Last night's min was 4.3°C here, foggy start, slow to clear, cloud came up quickly from south.  Spits and spots in the afternoon and then persistent moderate rain from 17.00 and still at it now.  Felt much colder than the 12°C it got up to.  Friday in to Saturday looking particularly bleak.

Not holding out much hope for Trowbridge being dry tomorrow morning. The current rain on the warm front is further West and heavier than any model I’ve viewed, all of which have it forming again east of Trowbridge in the morning.

 I need to be proved wrong!

It started brightening up a bit for a time this afternoon but the sun never came out. Reached 13.7°C, currently 12.2°C

One of those nondescript days today, dull, calm, and damp. Temp reached 13.9°C.

To cheer myself up and make it brighter, I built my new PC.

Just waiting on a GFX card.

It’s dry! Rain forming a comfortable distance away! Yay!!

Moderate rain here now. Not very nice, although Sat24 shows a clearance moving in from the West.

We're off to Trevone, nr Padstow next Wednesday for the rest of Half-term. It was looking decent, with HP building in, but not so sure now.

Will have to wait and see.

And there was me thinking my 6 fan setup in my PC was over the top! 

Looks clean though, really do like that!

I'm trying not to get overexcited, but there's something resembling the sun up in the sky!  After the gloom of recently, it's very welcome and to be enjoyed before the nasties that are on their way tomorrow and Saturday.

There's 10 altogether. 3 more (non ARGB) at the top blowing cold air over the radiator.

Another dull day here with 1.2mm of rain. Temp 13.3°C.

Dull and cloudy morning with bursts of rain into the early afternoon.

A bit brighter with the odd sunny spell this afternoon but still quite cloudy and feeling cool.

Currently on the highest it has been all day at 12.6°C

It looks like a 24 hour period of 40 - 50mph gusts here between 4pm tomorrow and 4pm Saturday. I can't remember the last time that strong winds lasted that long?!

Yes it's probably gone under the radar with all the rain likely for some. Nothing unusual gust wise but yes we don't often get those gusts for that length of time.
