And here we go. I need to be working outside in Trowbridge on Thursday morning, the first day of half term. It has changed and rained or drizzled on the first day of EVERY school holiday this year and after 5 dry days Saturday through tomorrow this is now predicted! Priceless!

Lo and behold a pesky cloud from the south west has just blocked out the sun. ?️

That pesky cloud has produced a light shower here.

Which has turned into a much heavier shower. Didn’t expect this today.

It did look dark your way and I thought it would’ve rained here but it stayed dry surprisingly

Can just about see the edge of that cloud from underneath it.

Also noticed it went down to 3.8°C last night which is the lowest so far this autumn.

Sunny start to the day, with just some fair weather cloud appearing later afternoon, the high was 14.3C. Low overnight was 3.4C, lowest so far this season.

Interesting background signals emerging for early November, cold does look more likely. But one thing looks more likely, a long dry period (Finally!).

Very open field with short cut grass, my car thermometer was reading 4c which is likely to have been low enough for ground frost there.

I noticed some glimmer to the playing fields in Redlynch this morning, it certainly looked more like frost than dew... a low of 3.9°C overnight here.

Some sunny spells this morning but it has been overcast throughout this afternoon, it has stayed dry for now.

Reached 13.8°C earlier, it's currently 12.4°C

Only dropped to 6.5°C here last night although yesterday had a low of 3.8°C but didn’t see any frost then.

A day of three parts. Foggy start, and cold - coldest morning of the season so far - then sunnyish, then cloudy with more rain than expected, which has seemingly pepped up in situ this evening. Briefly, it was a beautiful sunset as there is still clearer sky to the west.
