Did seem strange that we were all at 16.8°C!

Currently 15.7°C and cloudy.

Clear sky now after a dry afternoon with sunny spells. Reached 17.6°C, currently 15.3°C

Morning All a cooler start to the day @ 9.8°C..start of a I tersting weather week?

Quite a cool night last night, got down to 7.5°C locally.

I'm keeping a trusting eye on Lorenzo, models really struggling with this as expected. Trend over the past 48 hours is to go west of Ireland and quickly weaken.

Cooler night than recent 'ere too with a low of 8.8°C... quite grey today, dry for the most part though, just a spot of drizzle this morning and a few drops in the air in the past 10 mins.

7.6mm has fallen here. 9th consecutive day of rain. 157mm for the month. September is now the second wettest month I have recorded at this station.

Stopped raining now after a wet end to the day although only 4.4mm from it. Reached 17.3°C, currently 16.6°C

Didn't quite reach 100mm here for the month but not far from it at 95.4mm. Still comfortably the wettest month of the year and a large part of the month was actually quite dry which shows how wet the latter part of the month was.

Another useless warning.. Yesterday showed the thunder/lightning symbol pretty much all day. Today, however, no showers forecast.

We've still hot tge lightning icon, snd the sin is now put following a pretty hefty cloudburst that seemed to come from nowhere. Can't rule out a bit of thunder later here
