At least the plants don't need watering, Saturday night into Sunday looks interesting with that low pressure system... also on Monday before a quieter period mid-week with that more northerly flow, and then it looks like we could have some influence from Lorenzo come next Fri/Sat.. EC 12z brings it right over the region but most other charts I've seen have it out west of Ireland. We'll see. Interesting weather wise however!

No rainbows here today as we only had one brief line of rain this afternoon, the rest of the time the showers went above or below us.  Very blustery, but not feeling too chilly.

Hilarious ; Thursday had forecasts of hardly any showers and we had downpours. Yesterday had forecasts of frequent showers and we had 2. Today was forecast to be dry until the evening and there are heavy showers forming quickly and heading this way!!

Surprisingly it has stayed dry here, although mostly cloudy with the odd sunny spell. Quite breezy too which has made it feel cooler.

Reached 19.3°C earlier.. currently 16.5°C

That's some intense rain showing on the radar to the west of the region and just seen the warning has been extended to cover almost the whole region.

Not raining much here at the moment but 6.6mm has fallen since it started around 7pm. 16.1°C

I wouldn't have known until you said it. I didn't get an app notification.

Rain has turned light and drizzly over the past hour but that swathe of red and orange in the west on the radar won't take long to arrive... temperature is rising here, 14.4°C

Plenty wet enough outside tonight! 11mm had fallen before this system arrived, and now up to 26mm, which will bring today to being the second wettest day of the year so far.

In between the showers or more like heavy drizzle, garden time...Last of the seasons spuds lifted, chaffer grub nematodes watered in. Green bin is full, not bad for 50/50 weekend. Tomatoes are still trying their best to form but with the shortening daylight hours and drop in the suns effect they are nearing their end... Prep for winter begins big time...Currently 17.0°C

A drastic improvement in the last hour! From frequent heavy showers to increasingly sunny/windy. The wind has switched to the WNW and temperature fallen from above 17c to 15c despite mid afternoon sunshine.

We reached 17.0°C earlier but the temperature quickly dropped after around 15:00, down to 15.4°C... a slight rise thereafter to the 15.9°C we are on now.

Sunny spells with an increasing breeze, and some fast moving cloudscapes.
