Gosport Fleetlands top official temperature in the SE* yesterday (not nationally) at 20.4°C. Reached 20.1 here at the other end of Fareham. Fantastic weather, am expecting another 7 degree early morning though (currently 9).

*I'm not sure why Central Southern England is lumped in with the South West here when Government has had it in the south east for decades, and so does the Met Office, seems to be a bit of an anomaly? Should be on its own ideally, but I'm sure there are good reasons for it.

There have been times in the past when the central area has been split out from the south west. The problem is, that at times, such as now when things are quiet the thread had almost no posts. Of course it would pick up at seasonal times (i.e. snowfall) but would remain quiet for the rest of the season. That's why we are part of the south west, as I've always felt that Southampton would have been the south east vs south west division point, but historically Portsmouth & Fareham have posted in here..were pleased to have you in the team though..

Cooling slightly over the week, today whilst clear has shown a slight drop in temperature @21.8°C at: 12:08

Now seeking the rain, as watering the plants is becoming a boring task..

Past few days have been basically wall to wall sunshine with temperatures in the low 20s. Not bad for September, but becoming more common in recent years!

Low overnight, last night was 9.5°C. A little higher than previous nights.

Today starts were yesterday left off, unbroken sunshine but with a easterly breeze today, just enough to take the edge off at times.

Currently 19.7°C and Sunny. Winds E at 5-7mph.

Another beautiful day!

Peaked at 21.9°C at: 15:06.. will make the most of tomorrow as it's all change from then on. Cooler, wetter and windier next week, although the nights will be milder than this recent... Signs of high pressure and a warmer flow (again) building in for first week of Oct, although there is some scenarios with a much cooler flow from the north. Yet to be resolved!

Beautiful end to the day yesterday, as has been the way this week. The high was 21.7°C. The low overnight was 11.9°C, the highest all week!

Another cloudless start to the day, however the fresh breeze of yesterday has all but gone unexpectedly.

Currently sunny and warm. 22.5°C.
