Was just out in the garden as the Lancaster on its own  flew over, nice to see at close range, even though I saw it in the WW2 flyby on Thursday

As expected the rain was patchy this afternoon, just 2 miles from us a down pour whilst here, it wasn't even measurable. Will have to get out and water the tomatoes tonight as they look a tad limp! This up and coming week has all the making of being dry again, so back into the watering regime methinks..

Stayed dry with sunny spells after the rain cleared and the breeze dropped later on this afternoon. Reached 19.8°C, currently 14.2°C

20.0°C on the nose was yesterday’s high @ 12:06..

A coolish night tonight... down to 10.0°C currently (at 03:55), although Sunday night/Monday morn looks even cooler.

The morning after a cold front there is usually a Bristol Channel streamer on the W/NNW/NW flow, today bucks that trend.

First day of autumn actually felt like the weather knew the season change! Much lower humidities today compared to yesterday and with the NW'ly wind making it feel fresh!

High was 20.1°C and was a partly cloudy day

The surprising thing this evening is the temperature dropping quickly before the sun has set, from 19.9c an hour ago to 16.8c now. More akin to a temperature drop in mid to late afternoon under clear sky in winter.

Out for my walk now but it was just a nip over 16°C just before 19:00 when I left the house.. I’m in shorts and t-shirt and the northwesterly breeze is fairly noticeable!

A low of 7.3°C this morning. It was sunny until around 2:30pm and the temp reached 21.1°C. Mostly cloudy and 18.6°C now.

Don't remember this layer of cloud being forecast, but it's been here all afternoon, not depositing any precipitation, but making it a very grey day.  Shall need to water some garden pots before long if we don't get any useful rain.

Had a surprise brief light shower around 5pm but that was it. Apart from that it's been grey but dry all day.

Stayed dry this afternoon although it came over quite dark for a while earlier. Could see blue sky to the south for most of the afternoon but it stayed cloudy overhead and eventually the blue sky completely disappeared. Reached 19.4°C, currently 17.1°C.

Also noticed it went down to 8.8°C last night.

Dry day but became cloudy this afternoon from the west which brought the temperature down. High was 21.8°C during the sunshine around lunchtime.

The overnight low was 5.4°C so rather cool for the time of year!

Currently much warmer than last night with cloudy skies, 16.7°C.

We did have some clearance around 7:30pm when I went for my walk which allowed for some nice pictures... 

However it clouded over again. The temperature has risen slightly over the past 2 hours from 14.8°C at 21:00 to 15.3°C at 22:50

The first morning that proves the changing season, dull and gloomy. Would far rather chilly and clear like the last few mornings!

That moment when you have made plans based on every forecast and app saying it will be a dry day and it pees down with radar showing widespread light rain just as you’re getting ready to go out!! You also have a line full of washing out too!
