Sun has finally made an appearance and the temp has been rising fast, now 22.3c
Fog horns were still going until about 10am.
The fog had cleared inland about 8am

One of the fastest clearances ever, from full on mist/low cloud at 11.45 to clear, hot sunshine at midday!

Max 28.6°C here today in west Fareham, so that makes for the BH weekend:

28.0, 29.3, 28.6. Friday's online forecasts for Fareham was: 25, 24, 22 respectively. Not one of the Met Office's or Meteogroup's most stellar efforts!

Well turns out today was well below yesterdays max and actually below Saturdays as well, with a max temp of 26.8 °C. The fog/cloud took until around 11:30 am to clear, delaying the warming of the day. Still felt really really warm though, inside and out.

Glad the day is over, for me nothing worse than hot sunny weather, I know I am in the minority but I really do dislike days like today.  Only 27.9 reached here on the IOW - wish it was lower but hey ho!
