Warmest part of the day now even though it’s cloudier than earlier. 21.8°C.

Had a nice walk up Beacon Hill earlier and the breeze was nice and refreshing at the top.

Help! Due to go camping this evening (purbeck area) but only for a couple of nights. Do we go ahead or postpone to next week.... not bothered about rain and wind but don't fancy lightening... any thoughts as to whether it will or won't?!

Ha. I'd be the opposite. Quite happy to see some decent lightning when camping, but would happily bin off the wind and rain.

Can't make the call for you, but it doesn't look very pleasant tomorrow. Frequent, potentially thundery downpours and windy. Looks a right mess.

It's been rather lovely today, not too hot and not chilly either, plenty of sunshine and we even missed the rain over the weekend others seemed to have picked up.

Interesting effect the hills on the IOW have on the incoming low..forcing up the moisture...

Just had a few spots of rain off that.

26.2°C was the high today around 5pm. Winds have been light from the NE all afternoon which always promotes a little micro-climate down here.

Not expecting much tomorrow here, maybe a few showers.

Wasn't expecting this, but still sat at 19°C and feeling pleasant with just a gentle breeze outside.

Can hear the wind now so it’s picked up quite a bit. A very warm night though as it’s still 18.9°C.

The centre of the low is still out in the Channel, just East of Salcombe. Not heading NE, as yet from what I can see.

Horrible here. No morning walk for us today.

In a gap between the rain bands and the sun has popped out for a brief spell. Channel looks choppy this morning, it's been calm for so long it seems odd to see white horses...

Love looking at the rotation of the rain on the radar on days like today! Currently under some very heavy rain as the centre of the low is passing close by and gradually pivoting everything around.

So do I!  Been out for the last couple of hours and been fascinated to watch the sequence to now.  As you say, centre of low is pretty much over our area now.  Only had 7.1mm to 09.00GMT, not checked what else has fallen since.  No snap, crackle and pop...yet.
