Is that rain coming up from the South going to hit the ground do we reckon?

Hope not. It's Friday evening, I'm done in an hour and want to be outside.

A max of 25.9°C in the sunny spells earlier but it's quite grey again and down to 23.6°C

Dry for now but assume it'll start spitting soon..

Well it tried and tried to reach the upper 20s, but.....it wasn't to happen with today maxing out @25.1°C at: 11:30 .

Overcast for most of the day, however humidity levels have risen since yesterday with the current measure @70 %, Humidex 27.9°C

Yet again wrong side of the line for any precip..

Just got home and according to the radar it’s raining here but it’s not reaching the ground.

Wouldn’t make any difference as it’s not reaching the ground.

Agreed. Nothing doing here. Yay!

Edit : Hirlam has it pepping up as the evening goes on.

My daft neighbour has been down the brewery to pick up a polypin for a family BBQ tonight, but they've given him a mini-keg; so 18 free pints.

I'm telling him that I'm still working, but he's shouting at me and trying to pass me a pint over the fence.

Well I hope it takes its time as I'm currently doing some work with the shed roof. It's brightening up a little again, temperature currently 22.1°C and the humidity is up to 69%

I'm now enjoying my neighbour's free pint.

Much cloudier today and quite a bit cooler although as it wasn't anywhere near as warm as elsewhere yesterday it wasn't as much as a drop here. Reached 21.3°C, currently 18.8°C

We are on the edge of that rain band but from what I can tell nothing has fallen, as with earlier.

Currently 17.9°C

Compared to this week just gone, we have been sat under grey skies and light rain all night and morning. 4.5mm has fallen so far.

Looks like its finally starting to march back eastwards now, as the rain is stopping and the skies are brightening.

Currently 18.7°C with spits of rain.

What a contrast to the recent heatwave. 17C currently and rain all morning. Still very warm indoors. Taking the opportunity to do some batch cooking

It’s a beautiful day here. Briefly hit 24C before more of a westerly breeze picked up. Full sunshine though!
