Scorchio day, but cooling down and the breeze picking up as the cold front moves in. 

Not quite the same difference in temperature yet, but I don't think it'll be too hot tonight. It's lovely now.

Yes, it's quite refreshing now, with a nice breeze.

Temperature started to nosedive here after around 18:45.. it was 29.1°C now down to a much fresher 25.1°C

At 3.20pm today I reached 34.3°C, making it the highest temperature I've ever recorded in my short 9 years of weather station data.

As soon as that was reached the sky clouded over and temperatures hovered around the 30°C for the rest of the afternoon.

Currently 28.2°C and rising once again. Watching the Channel with interest storm wise now.

O/T but I notice Wunderground has added decimal points back, unless they added that back a while back. It's been yonks since I had a browse on there.

Very nice temperature out there now with some rain also falling from some showers near by! 25.1C 53% humidity.

It’s still warmer here in Stroud than it was on Tuesday. Just went up Selsley Common, all the clouds are flat! A few are trying to build up. My bit of the SW is on the very tip of the new storm forecast on this site, but not expecting much unless the heat holds on as the colder air comes in.

Nice to put a number on it.... must fix the weather station.

Also got my new bins delivered today, so trying to adjust to how clouds look with a sepia tone. So far, it's a bit like having a permanent sunset filter on.

I don't like the new Wunderground much prefer the older look.

No decimals when I looked on there a couple of hours ago but just looked now and yes finally we have decimals again.

...and I've just heard thunder!  Must be from that cell that's between Dorchester and Blandford.

Cell right next to frome 

storm exactly line of path to the south in Dorset right now 

 Was some lovely rays through the clouds earlier as well

Oooo unexpected storms forming overhead. Thunder heard several times in the last few minutes and a short spell of heavy rain!
