Thanks Andy! Done well for heat and/or thunder over the years. Will never forget the early hours of 23/7/13.

Want to see how high the temperature can get.

Hurn reporting a rounded 30c at 1320, since then the winds really picked and flipped south easterly so would expect the airport to fall back a little now.

Still haven't made it to my warmest temp this year. Humidity is fairly low too, so it's pretty comfortable/

Fail....... 31c now at Hurn airport! Pretty remarkable given wind speed and direction.

Have to say it’s actually feeling unusually warm for round these parts - winner!

Just reached 31.1°C here, 14:45, comfortable beating my previous highest of the year (29.8) on June 29th.

The wind did start veering towards the SE for a time but has now reverted to ENE so temperatures should climb further.

I’m not home for another few hours so I’m intrigued to see what I get.

General consensus is 29-32 on other stations around the area, I’ve got 33.6°C to beat but we still have another while of heating

Just nudged above 32 in Warminster Scott.

The second day this summer with a hot wind. It’s from the SSE, I would be intrigued if it switched to ESE to bring potential fohn effect off the Plain.

Patchy high cloud moving in from the Channel now blocking the sun at times.

New weather station installed just in time to get me some heat records. So, IMBY (Fleet, N. Hants) we have 33.3°C with 30% RH and gusts of 8.5mph ESE.

I guess if you like the heat, this would be stunning. For me it's a furnace!
