RIP 2 day hot spell! From 30C at 4pm to 22C at 6.30pm.

Not so severe down here, but I told the wife it was cooling off, and her response was "Goodeee".. different weather for different folks..Still hovering nicely around 24.2°C

Despite being in the fresher westerly, it's still 25.3°C. Not much cloud around either, yet.

Isn’t it frustrating to read about people finding a one day hot spell too hot.  We had a lovely 31c day here in Portsmouth, I’m sure Southsea beach was much cooler.

Well, I challenge that, each to there own, and how they cope with heat. My wife struggles with 26-30C and the humidity levels for the Uk, and yet, we spend time in Arizona @ 40-44C, with sub 20% humidity and she is fine. It's more about how you can cope with the variance of heat and humidity rather than pure temperatures..

Cloud's moving over now, still plenty-a-pleasant for a few beers on the patio.

It was so severe, I had to change out of shorts and put some trackie bottoms on lol. Feels positively chilly out there now.

Currently 20.9°C here. I have been digging a new pond out all day. I've lost 4lbs, probably due to sweating. ?

Here’s a remarkable stat, today was hotter than any day last summer! My highest in those incredible 6 weeks or so was 32.4c whereas today was 32.8c making it the hottest day since 21st June 2017!

Below 20c now.

Can you tell when the cold front passed overhead at around 7pm? 5°C drop in 30 minutes!

Really was noticeable with a sudden increase in wind speed!

Currently 22.1°C, still pleasant! All windows open to make the most of the cooler conditions now!

Cooling trend continued until around an hour ago and now sat at 19.8°C, winds light from the West.

The ground is clearly still radiating heat back into the atmosphere a little longer!
