Mildest night of the year with a min of 17.5c. However a double whammy this morning, cloud still streaming north in the mid levels associated with the plume and then lots of low level muck been pulled across from the North Sea at the surface could be a while until we see any sun.

A very warm one overnight with the overnight low of 17.1°C and confirmed by the overarching mist that's around this morning the humidity level is right up there @ 94 %, Humidex 21.8°C. A wacky backy spell this, you couldn't make this up form where we were last week and people seeing some extraordinary weather, lack of storms, lack of heavy thundery rain, amazingly high temperatures and formidable humidity/heat mix. Meanwhile back in reality, maybe the next few days will see something a little more in line with the forecasts, who knows?

Warmest night of the year here with a low of 16.2°C @ around 06:30

Murky and grey currently, 16.4°C RH 87%

Hopefully this clears up for the afternoon and I get a shot at beating my record of 26.6°C set on the 1st once the sun gets going

It’s dropped lower than any of those here, 15.4c minimum and 15.8c now with the added joy of drizzle!

Still only 3 completely dry days this month!

Currently 24C here. Several degrees ahead of where we "should" be for now. My weather station is usually within a degree of the official site in Gosport, so pretty reliable

It should be breaking out over Glasto soon enough. Good luck to 'em. ☀️

Suns been out a while now and upto 22C which is GFS's max temp for the day. Will be interesting to see if that stays the same or whether the air will dry out and the 2M Temp will increase.

Longleat truly does have a microclimate. Left there half an hour ago under gloom with car thermometer saying 17c, got half a mile away into Warminster and it’s mostly sunny and pushing 22c!

24.1 here too, I can't see yesterday's 25.6 max being beaten here but somewhere on the S coast will likely be the top temperature today. Breezy so less of  "sunshine" effect on  the screens I'd say.

Up to 24.5°C now with a nice warmish breeze not coming off the sea for a change.

Happy Birthday @Mapantz

23.6°C here with blue sky and a refreshing breeze. Perfect for a bit of work in the garden and great opportunity to get the washing dried. Cooler than some of our coastal friends.

flamin typical, south-west got removed from all yellow thunderstorm warnings earlier in the week, but we do get a yellow wind warning. Yeah, it's going to be hot & windy, it's going to feel like a furnace in a fan oven
