Gone quite dark here all of sudden. Checked radar but can’t see any precip. Heard a rumble & it made me jump out of my skin. It was the neighbour dragging her bin in!

Feeling muggy, grey skies, 20.1C 83%H

It looks much brighter to the South. Hopefully we'll get some evening sunshine, as we did yesterday at 5ish.

This cloud can do one now. Hopefully that's the end of it.

Made it to a shade over 24 degrees this afternoon near Modbury.

Nice spells of sunshine from about 2pm onwards, slightly hazier now but pretty good going to be fair!

Lol that happened to us this morning while we were getting dressed at 06.30 . Window open, torrential rain and rumbling heard, yes it was a bin!

I wonder what the temperature would have been if the sun had stayed out all day? Each time it has poked through the clouds, it turned in to a sauna! It made 23.7°C.

Not sure what will become of it but we have a rapidly developing heavy shower on the Western edge of Salisbury Plain. It’s gone very dark here, there was nothing on the radar at 17.30 but an orange core by 17.45! Another similar shower near Devizes plus a lesser developed one near Tisbury.

im watching a small couple of blobs developing down near bere regis, could head north, the sun has come out along the south coast which could be aid convection.

According to the radar there’s been drizzle here for the last couple of hours but there’s been nothing reaching the ground and the suns been out for quite a lot of that time. 22.3°C

We had cloud all day today so temperatures never made it above 21.2 °C which is quite a bit down on yesterday. Still felt warm and humid though. We did manage a decent 7.2 mm of rain early this morning too. A few small showers roaming around nearby currently as well.

Looking at the UKV for tomorrow, cloud should begin to break up around lunchtime. The South coast could possibly see the highest temperatures. 25 or 26°C

I just got woken up by an alarm I set  years ago but it's never gone off before. 00:05 temp was 17.3°C and now it has just clocked up to 18°C. That's never happened at this time of night before.

Mildest night of the year with a min of 17.5c. However a double whammy this morning, cloud still streaming north in the mid levels associated with the plume and then lots of low level muck been pulled across from the North Sea at the surface could be a while until we see any sun.
