A few showers this evening and it stayed grey. A bit of a break in the cloud for the sunset though, and there was some nice colours behind the clouds in the horizon, if anyone noticed. Temp 14.8°C

Why is it that every projected decent day downgrades to showers or rain/drizzle  by the time it arrives? Tomorrow looked set to be dry and fine but lo and behold showers now look likely from mid morning until late afternoon!

Crackin start this morning, wall to wall blue, the channel looks serene and a lack of breeze all making for a great start to the day. Currently 9.6°C after an overnight low of 8.1°C at: 05:34

And we start the first of three sunny days with full cloud cover and spots of rain... Great.

Off to Saunton Sands today so hoping for sun there!

As hoped - within a few miles of the coast, the skies cleared and it's quite sunny here in Saunton. Much cloudier further inland.

The rag is at it already...

Bournemouth and Poole Weather were even most optimistic. Forecasters say inland temperatures could reach higher than 36c across England, with highs of 43c.

However, before the warm weather is set to kick in the Met Office has issued another weather warning for thunderstorms on Sunday and Monday.

The forecaster said: "Thunderstorms may develop bringing torrential rain and lightning, with possible flooding and disruption to travel."

The warning, which will be in place from 3pm on Sunday until 11.59pm on Monday, covers the whole of Dorset.

Hmmm

Tuesday, it says 'near record warmth' as it compares against official data for each day.

Some beefy showers here this afternoon after a dry morning.  Just what the garden ordered!

It's dark out to the West at the moment.

I was going to take a snap, but I'm saving my memory card for next week's Supercells.

Until a recent heavy shower we’ve managed to only catch drizzly edges and remnants. Not much sunshine since 08.00 though due to frequent proximity of showers.

i had a trip into the mad thread. Dewpoints of 23 and 24c projected for next Wednesday - i had to leave again, very quickly

Even Tornado Alley doesn't see Dewpoints that high during Tornado outbreaks. Holy Smokes
