Agreed. I keep it just to make me feel a little better.

I did hear on the grapevine that the MetOffice are keeping an eye on something for Sunday, though.

Haha I know the feeling!

Yes, noticed Alex Deakon mention it on the Met Office live feed this afternoon. Took a look at the models and GFS has a low in Biscay stall and promote a Easterly. Very interesting setup, could do well from convection moving either along the coast or coming up from the SE.

Your location looks odds on at the moment.

Off to a grey and mild start, still feeling muggy. Temp 14.6°C after an overnight low orb 12.7°C

Another dire day, maxes in the teens, showers and zero sun.

17th straight sub 20c max, no the longest such run I can find in summer here in the last 40years.

16 hours sun in the last 9days.

I am sick of cloud! I've said this so many times but flip it's all i've seen since Easter. Hardly any sun - even sunny days have had cloud aswell. I want a nice day of no cloud just sun and blue sky. I don't even care if its not hot I just want sun.

Yep, also sick of the cloud. Storms failed within our region from what appears to be a cap at the mid levels, preventing any sort of forcing within the boundary levels from what I can see, models do struggle with these sorts of of setups. Daytime heating from some decent afternoon sunshine would of helped with this, but we await a better setup!

Models do suggest a convergence zone stretching from Southampton across central Hampshire, Sussex and SE, but again sunshine is needed. Sadly west of that, the decaying cold front is just not shifting quick enough.

Temp currently 18.8°C, DP 15.3°C. Still humid here.

Give it 48 hours beka. We'll be alright. ☀️

Yes last weeks cold rain has become this weeks warm rain!!!

AlderC, I tried to quote you from the model thread into here but it hasn’t worked ; my nearly 3 year old wants to play outside too!

Would you believe it, the sun has actually shown itself after a very brief heavy shower. Was not expecting that!

Temperature now 19.7°C, DP 17°C... feeling steamy.

Edit at 15:40: Now 21.0°c DP 18.1°C with the party sunny skies. Feels even more steamy!

I've just finished some cement work. Hopefully it doesn't come to anything.

Seriously boring, grey, damp and fine drizzle.  Warmer out than in.

Glad it's finally warming up next week... just hope there'll be a bit more sunshine. Output looks quite cloudy and humid with some muggy nights at the moment, but that's better than we've endured for most of this month, fingers crossed for some storms though!

Made it to 19.7°C this afternoon. No sunshine recorded, but it did get bright for a time. Just had a drizzly shower bringing half a mm.

Mostly cloudy but bright until a couple of hours ago and since then I’ve been stuck under a train of light to moderate showers. 15.6°C

Well that was a surprise. Light rain or drizzle all day yesterday, on and off overnight and again through today. Radar showed the same half an hour ago but we’ve just had a very heavy shower which the latest radar shows included a red core developed quickly.
