Light rain so far but generally miserable. Looks and feels more like a drab day in september.

Heaviest rain of the day here now. Interestingly the radar shows nothing over me at the moment.

Nice to see my Ecowitt station keeping inline with my Davis. Both at 3mm of rain.

Wow, interesting evening coming up for those middle/south of our region! Precip is roughly following the arrows.

There are reports of lightning and thunder in the SE at the moment as well, not sure if that activity will go far inland, but if the rain keeps its intensity...

Very wet evening now, under that heavy area of precipitation, with some gusty winds. Temp down to 10 °C. Before that some early brightness before showery rain arrived from about lunch time. Top temp 15.6 °C

Not really a great deal of rainfall here today. The forecast did show pretty much a continuous 12 to 15 hours of it. Reality, perhaps two hours in total?! Just 4.2mm.

Is anyone else looking at the radar and thinking what if it was 10c cooler and January/February!?

Yes! Thought that earlier when the ppn started encroaching from the northeast. In fact I thought that on Friday too. Textbook low moving up from the south into a previously cold airmass.

It's been continuous here... continuous drizzle that is. Some heavier rain this evening but only 3.2mm so far today.

Currently in the middle of the big red splodge on the radar!  After missing out on most of the rain last week, we are definitely making up for it today/

7.1mm of rain so far today. Heavier rain now encroaching from the east as we speak so looks like the heaviest rain will be overnight tonight for this location.

Been chucking it down here since around 3 oclock. Some torrential downpours as well. Cold at 9c currently. Thoroughly miserable for June.

Already quite a few alerts and 2 flood warnings.

Wonder how many there will be by the end of the week!
