Well after an hour of endless showery rain-drizzle-showery rain, it's sunny again with blue sky above.

16.0°C

Here's the view towards home and the cell that prompted a trip to the beach.

It's been one of those days that you can look to the 4 main compass points and see different cloud in each quadrant, was sat in the garden earlier watching the cell activity to the north for the last hour or so..Meanwhile here it's been a fine day and 19.6°C at: 15:20

All the showers are forming just to my NE, brighter not far to the SW and I'm kind of in the middle with cloud building overhead but not enough for any rain. A bit draughty at times with temps only at 16.6 °C

Cloudy morning changed over to a warm and sunny mid afternoon, before some high level cloud from a occluded front that is parking itself over us for the next few days.

High was 20.7°C with light SW winds.

Currently hazy with a light Southerly, temperature 14.9°C.

We managed a sunny picnic at Longleat today, it was calm and probably about 19c at midday, actually felt like summer.

However outside now the only thing telling me it’s June is the daylight because there is already dew on cars!

In between the above there were a few downpours late afternoon.

A cool night last night, down to 7C. Relative normal, that’s like getting -3.5C in December.

Bright so far this morning.

Yes on both Friday and Sunday, of interest was how quickly they developed but also how slow moving too.

I missed the funnel cloud on Friday, is it your picture on Fergie’s Twitter?

Below average temperatures so far today, only at 13.5°C currently under cloudy skies. Had some light rain about an hour ago, only amounting to 0.5mm thus far.

Interesting setup this, which could give some high rainfall totals in some areas. We need the rain, but not a months worth in a few hours!

Nowcasting day today!

Watching those snow showers getting ever closer from the northeast... oh wait wrong month. Nevermind.

Heavy rain here now as the rain band pushing in from South East has met the NNE to SSW surface winds.

It looks pretty cool running through the radar animation.
