Hey guys,

Starting the thread for today. Another ENHANCED Risk and 10% hatched risk in the TX Panhandle today. Overnighted in Tulsa, OK last night after tornado warned storms and lightning photography until gone midnight! Headed Amarillo-ish way ready for storms firing off the dryline later! Should be good fun!

Pictures to follow!

Mike.

Looking good - yet another moderate, you guys are spoiled on this tour

PVA not quite made it yet ahead of the short wave rotating into NM, but suspect it will be helping to lift the lid off in a few hours to make things go bang!

ESRH looking very healthy out there - might all go linear quickly again but when doesn't it these days.

Have fun!

Are there problems with cold air wiping out these storms again ? Seems pretty darn cold otherside of the boundary ..

Some severe-warned storms forming and tracking NE along the frontal boundary over TX and OK Panhandles, just waiting for one of them to be tornado-warned

Been watching some weak ground circulations, likely due to convergence line, on storm near Pampa, TX on Matt Grantham's stream

That is pretty end of world... I think he's left his GPS tracker in OKC - that's where his position shows, so no idea which storm he's on!

Well today was another long day but we were rewarded with a fairly nice Texas tornado. There was a chance for another tornado which was rain wrapped but did come out of the rain , just after we had moved to intercept another storm coming from the south. Our tornado was on the ground for about 5 to 10 minutes before it became rain wrapped. It was moving to the north east and so we tried another intercept as it crossed the road but had to retreat because it was still partially wrapped in rain. I saw it passing across the road through gaps in the rain, Ended the night in Woodward , Oklahoma. Photo of the tornado supplied by Martin Bunn.
