Early evening light rain soon cleared and was followed by a few light showers. It became dry by late evening and well into the early hours before a band of moderate-heavy showers moved in from the west around 0400 g.m.t, clearing by 0530 g.m.t. The morning was then dry and mainly cloudy. A few sunny intervals developed by midday b.s.t, and continued into the early afternoon, before a short heavy shower of rain and ice pellets in the last half hour.

Early sunny spells gave way to overcast conditions with light rain at times after midday, before brightening up once again in the evening. Rather cold again during the day after an overnight ground frost.
