Mostly cloudy overnight, just the odd break when the temperature fell sharply allowing a touch of ground frost. Mostly cloudy, the late afternoon saw a few cloud breaks allowing a few bright and sunny spells., another cold feeling May day.

Clear spells overnight, widespread ground frost forming. Cloud increased to almost overcast towards dawn. Cloud thinning and breaking for a short time though the morning allowing a few sunny spells before cloud increased again mid to late morning. Mostly overcast for the rest of the day, though staying dry. Feeling chilly.

Although the air temperature is low 12C the expected cloud layer has dissipated and sun is quite strong, so quite pleasant to sit out despite needing a couple of layers.

A few clearances overnight allowed the temperature to fall low enough for a ground frost, but during the daylight hours it has been almost totally cloudy. There was a light shower around midday and then further showers this evening. It was again rather cold.
