Sunny, 24C with 39% humidity. Today is pretty much my idea of a perfect summers day.

Just a few miles away, yet only 19 deg here but pleasant sunshine and calm conditions make it feel warmer than it actually is.

12th straight day of 20°C+

Average max temp over those 12 days is still 24’C. Plenty of sunshine too!

Max of 20.9c on the Essex Riviera and not much breeze so it feels warmer than that...outlook currently looks quite good so the 'back to back' poor summer months could again as mentioned a few days back be put on hold (last time 2012 I believe), but it's early days.

Glorious summers day, temperatures bang on average, 23c/24c (London), which feels very warm in the July sun.

No, they were awful summers and we had no thunderstorms in 2007 for London. I do remember however, an afternoon thunderstorm in August 2012. Think it was a Saturday. Anyone remember that?

August the 25th 2012 was an amazing convective day for quite a few. It was under a classic sunny low pressure centred almost right over us, with a slack southerly veering westerly throughout the day.

I remember observing a +CG on a storm over the Cambs/Norfolk border, probably the most potent storm out of the many that occurred that day. I hope we see another day like that between now and September.

A perfect summers day today.  Lovely and sunny, warm (very warm in the sun) but with a gentle cooling breeze and low humidity.  Couldnt ask for a nicer day!!

Cannot complain about the outlook. Sunny spells with clear skies at times, temperatures in the low-mid 20s and some pleasant nights around 10-13C looks like the form horse over the next week or so.

Have recorded 20°C+ for 13 consecutive days now here

Yes Friday looking warm/vwarm for London, obviously great for those in that area who enjoy that sort of thing, and still time for those who live further away to jump on a train and actually experience it too!

Online from a distance doesn't count.☀️

I must say this current spell isn't too bad.  OK OK it's sunny but it isn't too warm, and with the clear skies the nights are pleasantly cool so sleeping is no problem.  If it stayed like this for the rest of summer I'd be quite happy.

Yes, that would be nice. Long periods of sun and clear mornings and evenings with temps in the 22-25 region.

Glorious start to the day, not a cloud in the sky here in London (and it seems across much of England and Wales currently). Feels much warmer than the last few days, so 25c/26c looks a great shout. Already up to 20c at 9.50am.

Almost perfect summer from my point of view at the moment. Pleasantly warm days and cool nights, could perhaps be a degree or two warmer but the wall-to-wall sunshine is very much welcome!

Great summer weather for the past week. Blue skies, sunshine and warm temperatures. ☀️

Definitely not the worst summer on record!

The last week or so has certainly helped lift the mood after the dismal first part of June. I would’ve liked a bit more heat than just the one day on Saturday, but that’s being picky. Plenty of sunshine and fairly warm most of the time although the sea breezes here have cooled it down a bit too much at times.

If it stays like this until September, then 2019 will have redeemed itself. Following on from a poor May and very poor June.

Yes it’s very nice now. Clear sunny and warm with a slight breeze and low humidity is perfect.

Looking at the Met Office outlook I very much doubt it,especially up in the north of the country.

Today turned out better. Mostly sunny until cloud invaded around 4pm, managed 20C which is still bit low for the time of year.  Managed to top-up my Vit D3 the best way, sunbathing topless.

Not the most inspiring of July days here, started off very nice with blue skies and sunshine but clouded over at lunchtime becoming overcast through afternoon, temps very average.

Overall though the past few days have brought very typical standard summer fayre, a cool down now taking place.. distinctly average.

This ongoing N/S split is so boring. . No sign of anything in the mid 20s for Manchester yet in the foreseeable. Only one day so far this Summer has seen 25C or above and which was last Saturday. Now compare this year to last year...
