Signs of cells arking toward the SE from the continent on the latest radar grab.

Cells starting to fire in the channel, also active in terms of lighting.

Stronger echoes building towards Liverpool now.  Interesting really, these cold pools / low pressure seem more of a tropical style development than the usual Atlantic lows.

Lightning kicked off 15 miles to my NE now after good insolation. 17°C. Get in.

Look at that wasted storm in the North Sea just off the coast of The Netherlands.

A couple of rumbles from this lot, just north of camber, East Sussex. Also a couple of interesting 'dangly bit's' floating around which don't show up too well on this camera.

Round 2 about to come ashore

We've just had a flash and big rumble of thunder here in Cardiff! Torrential rain and some hail mixed in.

Just had thunder. Get in. 2nd thunder day in the week. 6th thunder day of the year. It all seems to be further south than forecast.

Pretty intense line of rain with rumbles of thunder came through here...went really black to the N/NE was quite unusual to see..given that most of our thundery weather here comes up from the S.

It's travelling southwest which I don't think I've ever seen before

Absolutely crazy rain in Appledore, Kent. Roads turned into muddy torrents. Radar suggests 2-3 inches fallen in the past hour!

Several flashes and rumbles of thunder to go with it.

Some torrential downpours to my Northwest - not quite Oklahoma in Spring time but nice all the same!
