Gosh what happened in 1833!  such a wide gap between first and second warmest May on record..

Also uncanny how May 2017 and 2018 ended up with the same CET.

Another above average month most likely - I'll go with 12.3 degrees. However, a topsy turvy sort of month, cool spells interspersed with warmer spells, chance of a pronounced warm latter third which could raise the CET higher, slim chance though we might be unlucky and find ourselves on the cold side of the block, just as looks possible end of this week.

This one has crept up on me. Going for 12C just above average and rainfall 40mm another dry un.
