Severe storms capable of damaging wind and hail are expected today and tonight across parts of western and central Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. Additional storms capable of damaging winds, hail and a couple of tornadoes are possible from late evening into the overnight hours from eastern Texas into Arkansas and northern Louisiana. Additional isolated severe storms are also possible across Missouri into western Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Looking forwards to some big hailers tonight - mall chances of a TN or two as I see it, but the wind fields aren't quite right so we're relying on boundaries and dry line bulges etc to get the job done if it is atall. My virtual chase milkfloat is hanging around OK city at present. Happy hunting all!

Moisture convergence looking strong just west of Dallas - ArkLaTex area looks good for later to me - what say ye all ?

Initiation starting NW of Dallas now,plenty of chasers in that area.

7 tornadoes was the result.

continuation of last nights storm conveyor belt see the enhanced area move east to Louisiana and the gulf states.

It looks like there is some sort of low forming , possibly a triple point, and brett adair is scooting east as fast as he can to try and catch it up.
