A few clear spells through the night. Cloud increasing early hours with outbreaks of light to moderate rain. Further light to moderate rain this morning. The rain stopped before the end of the morning, bright spells following. The afternoon saw a few sunny spells, though with showers around of rain and small hail. feeling chilly in the brisk westerly wind.

Hard frost this morning. Low -1.7C. Mostly sunny but numerous clouds going through now, though breeze is minimal. Had a little pellet snow/soft hail.graupnel a short while ago. Now 9.4C.
