A cloudy night with rain arriving yesterday evening and lasting for the rest of the night. The rain cleared to sunshine and brief showers around 0800, accompanied by a W gale.

Dry and sunny with the wind starting to pick up again with gusts around 40mph at the moment from the north west

Apart from  few cloud breaks last evening, a mosty cloudy night. Moderate rain through the early hours. This morning, gale force westerly gusts and heavy showery rain. A clearance arriving just before the observation, sunny spells, still very windy.

A very windy spell first part of the morning with some heavy rain which gave to showers through the morning as the winds moderated.
