A clear start to last night with a slight ground frost. Cloud increased quickly during the late evening and there was intermittent rain after midnight, followed by a period of dry and cloudy weather, then more light rain from around 0800 this morning.

Apart from a few clear spells last evening allowing a touch of ground frost, a cloudy night, windy, with showery moderate rain. At observation, overcast, dull, moderate rain. The rain cleared towards late morning. The afternoon turned bright with sunny spells and the odd blustery light shower.

A breezy day but nothing of note and we stayed in the quiet area all day looking at xcweather. Some early morning rain but again not very much. Then dry mild with sunny spells.
