Yesterday morning was rather special on the North York Moors. We were the first ones out running on the old iron stone railway line at Rosedale Abbey around 9am. Clear blue skies, -2c and around

Lovely up on the Wolds this lunchtime

Been lightly snowing here for the past half hour or so,of the wet variety though and it's not heavy enough to settle.

Just not enough intensity to amount to anything unfortunately.  Looks like fizzling out from the South now anyway.

You're lucky. It's more than we have in south Yorkshire. My part anyway. Maybe something up in the hills...

Fingers crossed.  Just seeing it falling would be nice.

Just driven to Hoyland which is around 150m and there was some definite wintriness in the rain there.  Back to rain here though....

Seen your profile before and always assumed you were in Kent. Turns out your just down the road. I'm in Wath. I knew we would only get cold rain!! 😭

Yes it does throw people!  Should change it really!  😄

Fingers crossed we may get a little snow falling this morning before it turns back to rain later 🤞

Snowing near Skipton, still a little wet but with a little more precipitation we’ll see it settling 👌.. Great to see at this time of year hopefully more to come as we move through December into next year 🤞

Snowing in Chapeltown, Sheffield. Getting a bit heavier.

Anyone else find the netweather forecast tool is rubbish nowadays with it not being able to predict anything even close to accurate even 24 hours out? Even the live radar is showing everything as rain. I used to recommend friends and family to use it but I just can't anymore

Starting to come a bit heavier now in Barnsley and starting to settle on grass, bin lids and car windscreens.  Looking forward to the heavier bursts moving up to South Yorkshire later this morning.
